The Hopeday Secondary Difference
Most Secondary Schools in Nigeria say they prepare children for WAEC. We do that and our results prove it. But we are obsessed with something beyond the certificate: we want our graduates to enter university, the workplace, or any arena of life and know, without doubt, that they belong there.
That confidence does not come from inflating grades. It comes from genuinely challenging students, supporting them through difficulty, and giving them the experience of hard work paying off repeatedly until the belief becomes unshakeable.
Junior Secondary School (JSS 1–3)
A deliberately broad curriculum that exposes every student to sciences, humanities, languages, arts, and technology before they specialise. We want children to discover what they love before they are asked to commit to it.
Senior Secondary School (SSS 1–3)
Focused, track-based learning in Science, Arts or Commercial — with daily examination preparation built into the timetable from SSS 2. Every student enters SSS 3 knowing exactly what is expected of them and exactly how to deliver it.
Our Results Promise
We monitor each student's projected grades termly. Any student in danger of not achieving their target receives immediate intervention — additional support, teacher coaching, or pastoral assistance depending on what is needed. No student falls through the cracks at Hopeday.
